Useful Information
How to get there
Corfu is an international transportation hub. One can fly here direct from many cities in Europe,

or take a ship or ferryboat from Italy or other cities of Greece.

o By ship: Regular ferryboat connections with Igoumenitsa, Patras and Piraeus.
o By plane: Daily flights from Athens twice a week from Thessaloniki.
o By bus: From Athens and Thessaloniki via Igoumenitsa.

Tours
From Corfu it is possible to visit Paxi, Erikoussa, Mathraki, Othonoi, Sami (Cefalonia), Patras.

Organized tours lasting half a day or all day can be arranged to different parts of the island as well as to Epirus,

the islands of Paxi and Parga. For information, contact the local travel agencies.

Facilities for yachts
Corfu town is an official entry/exit harbour and as such possesses Customs and Health authorities,

as well as Passport Control and Exchange Services. A GNTO yacht marina is located at Gouvia.
